Once again, Gibson Custom has teamed up with guitar virtuoso Johnny A. to introduce the latest addition to Johnny's successful, innovative signature lineup.

With many of the ingredients that made Johnny's original signature model an instant success, the Johnny A. Standard features that distinctive double-cut hollow body, a lighter, more resonant weight-relieved mahogany back, and a 2-piece maple top that features a pair of his uniquely-shaped signature F-holes. Handsomely dressed in a classic antique goldtop finish, the Johnny A. Standard offers all the legendary Gibson mojo of those early '50s Les Pauls. Offering the flexibility needed for a variety of playing styles and alternate tunings, the neck has a 25.5" scale length as opposed to the more common 24.75" scale length used on many Gibson guitars. The 1-piece Indian rosewood fingerboard comes fitted with 22 reissue frets to deliver time-tested Gibson playability while cellulose Johnny A. "Original Style" trapezoid inlays cater to the unmistakable vibe.

Capable of producing all of those classic PAF tones, the Gibson Custom Johnny A. Standard comes equipped with a pair of Johnny A.'s preferred '57 Classic humbuckers. Traditional Gibson appointments include single-ply cream top binding, reissue cream fingerboard binding, a set of nickel Kluson Tulip Style tuners, a nickel ABR-1 thumbwheel bridge and a genuine Bigsby vibrato tailpiece. Comes with the full protection of a hardshell case and includes the Certificate of Authenticity.
